It’s not easy, you can’t do it alone. There were a lot of difficulties, some big some small; most of all there was this emptiness sitting right there in your heart, and it was hard because you don’t know what to fill it with…I was 6 or 7 when the divorce happened.  I vaguely remember it, most of the  parts I remember still come back to haunt me today.
 
I had big impact from “Damon”; he was that father-figure who stepped in to help with a lot of things. He’s a fallback person to lean on, trust in; he’s always there. There’s people out there who will help you; if you try to fight the war alone, you’re not going to win. There are people who will always be there for you. “Damon” came to me at a hard time in my life and stepped in and helped me a lot. He’s like a father to me. There are a lot of kids going through the same thing I have; you’re not alone.
